I won the Nine Hole Golf Championship

It was Good Luck more than good management.
I was joking that since we were playing the final there should be cameras and helicopters and a hole where you can win a car! No such luck but I've coined a new phrase..............

I took a photo of me as an Elf or the Trillion Dollar fairy with 2 pieces of my work. Maybe Just the lady who paints 5 leafed Clovers for good luck for the Pentagon.

Kay Jenkins won the Surprise Award with her lovely Gecko Ball. And a well deserved Win! Kay is another Woman with a heart of Gold like so many Paeroa people.

I have given my word of honour that I will give up smoking to Peter and Paul and Kirk and Winston. But I have weakened in my resolve and had one. Therefore tomorrow I may use the patchs as required.

I'm sure everyone is concerned for the American Economy. It has given us all the jitters. So to help out I'm sending a bucket of 5 leafed Clovers to the Pentagon.

Today I visited my Mother

And there was a Christian group of singers at Aparangi. Apparently they volunteered to sing to the residents. It was marvellous and brought tears to my eyes.

When I walked down town today I saw Irises. Obviously I can't do justice to them as did Vincent but they were beautiful.

I saw Kirk and Winston Yesterday

They are plastic surgeons. I gave my word of honour that I would not smoke cigarettes if I could have my Operation. Being on medication I forget their last names so I am immediately over familiar instead of calling them Mr. I hope I am forgiven! Anyway they were kind and now I have to turn my life around and get my figure back etc, etc. It will all be worth it but I have to steer away from all my vices. They tried to allay my fears about silicon implants and I tried to put forward my idea about decreasing the risks by making the implant a series of encapsulations. Apparently surveys done mean that the gel implants are safe. When I consider that Tegretol caused my cancer and now they are saying that Tegretol actually reduces the chance of getting Breast Cancer I have to admit that I am not entirely encouraged by the results of these Surveys. It seems to me that there is a tendency to look for the answer they are wanting which is extremely convenient for the Medical Industry but does not completely honour the patient.
